Don’t let the word “museum” fool you—this place is incredible. The planetarium shows are mind-blowing (seriously, spring for the upgraded show), and the natural history exhibits feature a 43-foot whale skeleton and genuine Florida fossils. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and if you’ve got kids, the manatee rehabilitation aquarium alone is worth the visit. Pro tip: Thursday afternoons are typically less crowded.
